When we get it wrong, it goes here.
The brief checks every quoted claim against its source before an issue ships, and this page exists for the errors that get through anyway. Each one is corrected on its page and logged here: the date, what was wrong, and what it says now.

The ledger opened on Jul 16, 2026 with the full archive in scope: every one of the 46 daily briefs and every reference page. An empty page here is the goal. A quiet fix is not: when a published error is found, it gets corrected where it ran and logged here, visibly.
What counts as a correction
Anything that changes what a careful reader would believe: a wrong fact, number, name, or date, a quote that was not what the source said, a claim pinned on the wrong person or company, or an evidence grade the cited source did not support. If the error touched a graded claim, the entry on the Record is corrected too, and says so.
What does not
Typos, formatting, and wording changes that leave the meaning intact get fixed without ceremony. And new evidence is not an error: when a study lands that changes the picture, the page it touches gets a dated update, the way Record entries and the reference shelves already carry them. A correction is for what we got wrong at the time, with what we had.
How a correction happens
We verify the error against the original source, correct the page where it ran, and log it here with the date, what was wrong, and what it says now. The wrong version does not vanish; the log keeps it. That is the same rule the Record applies to everyone else's claims, pointed at our own.
